| 44758 | 2002-04-20 08:31:00 | Hi there, My printer has just started to give me this error message when I go to print { although not every time } ' There was an error writing to LPT1 for the printer Brother HL-760. The parameter is incorrect ' The only way I can get the printer to then work is to restart Windows, which is a pain! Can anyone out there help me? Thanks, Mervyn. |

Shut down the computer and unplug the power to the printer and PC for 30 sec. Do a restart and see if this helps. If not delete the printer driver and reinstall it. Make sure all cables are in correctly. If the problem continues then it could be a printer error. hth CJ |
