Hi, I'm having some trouble watching DVD movies on my PC. I used to be able to do this with the hardware setup I have at present, however and update to WinXP Pro has changed that. I now get the message DirectDraw Overly Mode not set when trying to watch a DVD. I've updated to PowerDVD XP with no success. I'm thinking maybe my Eagle graphics board, with an Intel I740 chipset is incompatible with DirectX8.1. Does anyone have any ideas? Intel and Microsoft don't make any drivers for the I740 anymore so no luck there. Any suggestions would be welcome! :) |
