After running Norton I get a message saying ' Backdoor. Trojan', with 2 options 2 eliminate it either Automatic or Manual as im a newbie at this whole computer thing I choose the Automatic and push next. It then says 'The following items are infected' Name: MS_SETUP.exe Virus: Backdoor. Trojan Location: C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\MS_SETUP.exe and click next 2 repair the following items in which i do. Then i get a message saying that 'Some virusesdamage files beyond repair. The only way to eliminate these viruses is to delete the infected files. You must replace the deleted files yourself.' in which i select the option to do so and push next. And get another message saying 'The following items are still infected with viruses' that being Name: MS_SETUP.exe Virus: Backdoor. Trojan Location: C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\MS_SETUP.exe But i cant even remove it manually if any1 can help i would b extremely grateful thanx. |

I think 98 and ME are the same.. Then do your virus scan things should go better.. FYI: next time include your operating system in your post. dan. |
