44927 2002-04-21 07:26:00 I have a message in my drafts folder (it got there after my mouse froze whilst compiling an email and I had to do keyboard command save). I want to send it, but clicking on 'Send and Receive' does not do the trick. What's up? Guest (0)
44928 2002-04-21 08:37:00 Never have figured out what this folder is for. I'm sure someone will enlighten us. Bye Guest (0)
44929 2002-04-21 09:03:00 It stays there if you need to amend or add to at a later date. I do this if I am writing long email and want to add to it later. ALso can come in handy if you have a few emails you are writing offline (only need to worry about this if you pay per hour for internet use) to different people. Save them in drafts and send them all off at the same time.

To send them just.....
click on drafts, double click on the email to open, check it then click on send.

44930 2002-04-21 09:59:00 Geez, is my face red!

I've never been able to do anything with that darn drafts folder either - until now. Eureka! Thanks Sam and Chris!

Every time I saved something in there I could never edit it again and had to copy and paste everything into a new email message.

Never thought to actually OPEN the email (I have Outlook Express in the Preview Panes view). How embarrassing!

Perhaps you've got the same problem Linda? Click on the Drafts folder then double-click on the email file that you see in there until it opens. Once you've finished editing it just treat it like a normal email and click on Send and away it goes, either to your Outbox or to the recipient if your mail gets sent immediately.

44931 2002-04-21 10:06:00 Thanks people. Yes - what I was doing wrong was single clicking on the particular message. The double click enables editing and sending.
Ta v.m.!
