45027	2002-04-22 06:26:00	Hi, All of a sudden (no changes made) my XP Pro comp started acting funny on startup. It will boot, and then allow me to select a user, but as soon as it finishes loading settings, it logs me off without making it to the desktop. Safe mode works fine. Any ideas? Also, I still have no power options, and don't know how to get them back. Does anyone know how I can get them back? Thanks in advance G P	Guest (0)
45028	2002-04-22 11:10:00	Sounds a little like the behaviour you get when the product isn't activated (after the free period) or has an invalid activation database file.	Guest (0)

45031	2002-04-23 05:08:00	Yeah! :-) I rang MS, and they got me to reactivate and it fixed it - must have somehow removed the file that is created upon activatio or something. Oh well, thanks anyway. Still no idea about power schemes tho. G P	Guest (0)
