45224 2002-04-23 07:51:00 I recently was grateful to use info from David Slater to download from the website www.pdf995.com a program to convert a Publisher file to PDF format. It's great! Thanks a lot. However, is there a way to reverse the operation - from PDF format to Publisher format? I have nadvertantly lost/deleted my Publisher file, and only have the PDF file.... Some people are slow learners! Guest (0)
45225 2002-04-23 09:34:00 there i think no way possible u have lost all the formatting. well if u like u can print and scan and perhaps use some OCR software and do bit of touching up later on ... Guest (0)
45226 2002-04-23 10:18:00 It depends on how that PDF995 thing saves your file. You *may* be able to use a full-version of Acrobat (not the reader) to open the file for editing, and possibly copy and paste from there back into Publisher...

but its a long shot!

Mike.

45227 2002-04-25 09:43:00 There is a free program that will do what you want. It is a cheap and nasty version that is not 100% perfect, from what I hear. Somewhere I have the URL but cannot find it now. Suggest that you research the Archive of posts here on PC World site, or maybe try a Google search, or post your question again in a week or so - someone must know. Guest (0)
