45204 2002-04-23 06:30:00 I am running Win XP on a Pentium II 400mHz system with 320 mB RAM. Recently the system has slowed markedly, and I cannot access certain programs. e.g. if I R-click My Computer, then click Properties, nothing happens. If I go Programs>Accessories>system Tools>System restore nothing happens. I have done several resets, and two re-intalls of Win XP without success. I think there may be problem with rundll32.exe, because that file sometimes comes up as an error. Guest (0)
45205 2002-04-23 09:16:00 Worth a try:- Run, type SFC (System File Checker)and insert XP Disc.
This might identify and re-install any corrupted files.

45206 2002-04-23 11:11:00 Start>run>sfc does not work. The file sfc.exe is in c:\windows\system32, but double-clicking it does not work either. Guest (0)
