| 45104 | 2002-04-22 16:56:00 | I have an Sis530 chipset with onboard 8MB video running Win2000. I bought a PNY Verto 32 MB TNT M64 PCI graphics card but I cant get it to work. I have installed the card in a PCI slot and on powering up it is not detected and I cannot install the drivers for it as the computer cant see it. From looking at a few tech sites I think the problem is that I need to disable the onboard video in order for the new one to work. The Device Manager wont let me disable the onboard graphic adaptor, there are no jumpers on the board to do this and in the BIOS there is no option to turn it off. What else can I do? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help |

After that I deleted the onboard video drivers and after a reboot it defaulted to the new card from which I eventually got the new drivers from the CD to work after Win2000 tried to interfere and find its own drivers. All working great now. Thanks |
