45337 2002-04-24 03:59:00 Hi tweak`e

I'm not 100% sure but I think he got it to well over 100MHz, possibly 120 or 133.
If you have the patience you could probably search for the post. It's too slow to search on dial up but I have jetstream so I might take a quick jog through the files later. You have raised my curiosity.

As to his whereabouts, he's out of commission at the moment till the radiation burns heal!

Seriously, school is back in and he's probably overclocking his brain now instead of PCs.

Cheers

45338 2002-04-24 05:22:00 i couldn't find the posts at all.

owell the little 100mhz i had lying about turns out to be an overclocked 75, so natuarly i cranked it up to 120. added an old heatsink off a k6-2, dash of artic silver paste, flash the bios, tweak the pci bus up a tad and its running quiet nicly.

it should keep the room toasty ;-)

45339 2002-04-24 10:25:00 I think he mentioned that he had it at 166MHz but then lowered it town as he didn't want to wreck it.

45340 2002-04-24 10:33:00 'Ya, Go The Overclockers!!!

My (you know the old story that I had 50 threads about) Pentium 75 is currently running superbably at 100mhz, I've tried 166 and guess what it still goes perfectly... true!!! but I just throught I'd better not brake it just by overclocking it and then using it for 20 times...

Just to let you know

Good luck!!!'

Just grabbed it for you.
