| 45295 | 2002-04-23 23:22:00 | I am on the verge of joining QuikSilver Jetstart. But before I do, I would like to know what you guys think about them..plz let me know. While I m at it, I will be either getting a internal Dynalink or Alcatel modem. Both around $200, which one should I get?? And does external gives u a heck of a speed boost?? One more thing, should I use filter or splitter?? I am going to need 3 filters, would using filters be significantly slower than splitter?? |

| 45297 | 2002-04-24 11:24:00 | I am considering joining Quicksilver Jetstart as well. I haven't got an ADSL modem yet, I was wondering what the difference between an Internal and External modem is. And in terms of speed increase, I know its 128 vs 56, but is the speed really noticeable when it comes to downloading. A 4mb mp3 takes about 10min with my dialup, what is the average speed for Jetstart. Thanks |
