| 45376 | 2002-04-24 06:05:00 | I'm having problems installing Nortons Antivirus 2002 on a PC running Windows ME. It comes up with error 'CDSTART has caused an error in...CDSTART will now cease. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Cheers Paul |

| 45377 | 2002-04-24 06:44:00 | Greetings Paul I had a hard time loading N 2002 on to ME once the factory/supplier loaded Norton expired. Had to send my machine back to retailer couple of times without lasting solution..Eventually they loaded on 'windows 2000 Pro'and its been a lasting fix . In short my Tech people couldnt unscramble ME and Norton 2002, tread carefully!!! Hoping your problem is simpler,Regards RRoss |

| 45378 | 2002-04-24 07:57:00 | There is no problem running Nortons AV. 2001 or 2002 with Me. I have two Me computers - one with 2001 and one with 2002. both run perfectly. I do not know the answer to your problem but it is not Me. | Guest (0) | ||

This should launch the Norton 2002 setup program. It sounds to me like the program that's supposed to launch when you put the CD in isn't working properly. HTH Mike. |
