SiS have announced their answer to the nForce chipset, it's called the Xabre400 <www.xabre.com which boasts support for AGP 8X and DirectX 8.1. Here's some of the spiel:

SiS conquers new visual world with its new landmark graphics chip, offering simultaneous support for AGP8X and DirectX8.1~
Taipei, April 24, 2002?Silicon Integrated Systems Corporation (SiS), a leading core logic and graphics chip supplier, today unveiled its brand-new graphics chip ? the Xabre400(pronounce like ?saber?). The world?s first AGP8X graphics chip and the only one of its class that supports 8x8 (AGP8X and DirectX8.1) functions will no doubt become the new standard for the mainstream market.
?The extraordinary power of the Xabre400 graphics engine will meet market expectations for high-performance display card and prove that SiS has taken the next step. The core and memory of the Xabre400 clock is at 250MHz and 500MHz (DDR), showing that SiS has entered the high-speed GPU club. The name Xabre is derived from ?sabre,? a fast, sharp cavalry sword, and expresses the thrill of speed and combat of gaming. We also have a brand-new website (www.xabre.com) to provide service to the extensive network of computer gamers,? says Thomas Tsui, Director of the Multimedia Products Division.

GTA3.com <http://www.gta3.com> has announced the release dates for Grand Theft Auto 3 in the U.S. and U.K. The release is May 21 and here are some of the features you can expect:
The textures on the GTA3 game have been vastly improved. This is what a lot of the last 7 months have been spent on since the PS2 release. They are in a higher resolution, more detailed and use a larger colo(u)r pallette. There's an increased frame-rate over the PS2 version, creating a more fluid feel to the game, and the graphics of the game are generally sharper.
The user will now be able to configure the world they see to suit your system - draw distances for buildings, pedestrians and cars in the city can be tweaked, and the number of pedestrains and cars can also be changed. Those of you on slower machines can still enjoy GTA3's beauty.
Confirmation of the system requirements; P3 450, 96mb Ram (that's pretty high), and 16mb graphics card. They recommend a P3 700 and a 32mb graphics card to see GTA3 in all it's glory.
Confirmation of the release date; 21st May for the US, and 24th May for the UK.

If you have a bit of time on your hands check out these awesome CGI movies called Gone Bad. Here's some info on the movies:
Gone Bad - a 3D animated horror movie - by San Francisco based Mondo Media. Gone Bad, which has been described as a truly stunning work of art, was one of the first computer animated Internet pieces to grab serious attention from audiences all over. Think Fargo meets Night of the Living Dead, Gone Bad is full of dark humor and bone-chilling sequences. It takes place in a small town infested with zombies and only a handful of people left alive. Gone Bad was written by Italian horror writer Niccolo Ammaniti and created by Bertoldo, a 3-D animator and director for Mondo Media. Episode One from the Gone Bad series was showcased at last year's Sundance Online Film Festival.
