| 45474 | 2002-04-24 22:09:00 | Graham Lees came back with a suggestion to uninstall the Vivitar camera driver, power down, power up, reinstall driver, power down/up and try again. As reported in our earlier posting we still cannot get a camera connection (via USB as a removeable drive). On connection the system crashes to a beige colour screen with a single row of (previously squares) double verticals (like to undotted 'i's. Prior to fitting the new CD writer and extra RAM the camera driver worked perfectly with instant recognition of the camera as a removeable drive, and subsequent successful transfer of images. Any other ideas? Thanks. |

| 45475 | 2002-04-28 04:12:00 | If it wasn't a driver conflict, I would be inclined to remove the extra RAM temporarily. (Be careful, with antistatic precautions). If you paid to have the RAM and CD RW installed, have a talk to whoever did it. They should be prepared to fix it. |
