| 45500 | 2002-04-24 23:27:00 | Hello Someone told me that docking stations for *any* laptop were availalbe, using USB to the laptop to connect a non usb monitor, mouse, keyboard and LAN. Has anyone heard of these things? Or are they non existent? Look forward to any replies. Cheers Fred Alvrez |

| 45502 | 2002-04-25 09:10:00 | Hi Fred Dick Smith Electronics have them, $194 for usb to serial, parallel, usb, keyboard and mouse. Catalogue XH6393 If you want network (ethernet cat 5) use XH4510, costs $267. They work, use on on a laptop, ok under Win ME, now ok with XP, downloaded Win 2000 drivers from link on the DSE web page. may not support fancy wireless mice etc, but std PS2 connectors OK for k/b & mouse Bye |
