45755	2002-04-26 05:31:00	Thanks to all the people who helped me connect up to the internet using linux. I have another question now. When I dial, It only fully connects once every 3 times why? If anyone wants, I can put my messages file up so people can see it. Also, Everytime I restart Linux, I have to use statserial before I can use my modem again. Why? 45756	2002-04-27 03:48:00	Whoopdedo. Isn't 1 in 3 better than never? But you're right, it should work every time. This is Linux. What did you do to get going?What is stopping it now? Another lock file? By all means put up the messages section. (That 'tail' command is useful, isn't it. The messages file gets VERY big.) I got a 404 error on this posting, and had to search through 4 pages of the 'By Date' list --- perhaps make a new one?	Guest (0)
