45665 2002-04-25 22:57:00 Hi, if I change to Jetstart/stream on my computer, can my kids still connect using the dialup modem on their computer at the same time?

Thanks

45666 2002-04-25 23:11:00 Yes. Jetstart and Jetsream use a different part of the copper wire and are permently connected. The dial up modem uses the same frequency that the telephone uses. Although Jetstart will not interfere with normal phone calls the dial up will. Please Note that Telecom has now put a cap on the amount you can use Jetstart and Jetstream. I think it is about 5GB Guest (0)

45671 2002-04-26 12:23:00 Telecom have not put a cap on Jetstart, Xtra have.
Other ISP's still have unlimited Jetstart
