45658 2002-04-25 19:29:00 Lot's of postings recently on spam and thought I'd pick up a comment made in a posting on Kame's comments below. I followed his instructions and sure enough the boxes had been checked so unchecked them. I run a hotmail account for the only reason of logging in to websites that request an address before accessing. Lot's of media sites require this, radio overseas papers which I access a lot. I have a personal account with my ISP (iGRIN) and apart from the odd queer e-mail such as those we all get from Nigeria wanting your bank account number to deposit a million dollars in I have never had spam atall in the 5+ years I've had it. Would be interested to hear other views on this subject and how to avoid it.
