| 1297738 | 2012-08-29 10:23:00 | Hi, I'm looking for a video program to talk to other people in the family between laptops.I didn't want to use Skype as I have heard of a few problems with it. I only want to talk to one person at a time. I tried a few free programs but seem to end up in a chat room. I tried Team viewer which was ok but I don't want to see the other persons desktop and stuff. Anyone know of something simple I can use? Thanks, |

Works with text, voice, and video :) It's free, a lot more lightweight than Skype, none of the bundled boat and crap either that infects your browser... |

I'm with wmoore, Google+ Hangouts are an extension of Google Talk, but they're pretty damn cool! Can safely say I was incredibly sceptical about it but once we got a few family or friends in there all at once, they're lots of fun! |
