1297512 2012-08-29 00:01:00 Hi All
I see that The Warehouse is selling a Le Vision E Reader model LEET170K for $99. It is not WiFi.
If I got a WiFi Dongle, would that connect it to the internet thro our Netcomm router? Thanks. PJ

1297513 2012-08-29 00:13:00 I don't think that will work,
certainly not possible with a Laser brand of similar specifications,
probably better to get a wifi one like some of the kindles.

1297514 2012-08-29 00:13:00 The device only has a mini USB port for charging and syncing. That would not work on a Wi-Fi Dongle.
I see no way for this device to connect.

1297515 2012-08-29 00:16:00 I would try it before you buy. At that price don't expect much. According to Consumer the best model is the Sony Reader WiFi Touch PRST1.

1297517 2012-08-29 03:27:00 You'd have to transfer books from the PC over USB somehow. I'm not sure how you'd get books for it though.
I have a basic Kindle and I think it's a great device.

:)That is the one I have and can recommend it. The PRST2 is now out but I don't think there is much difference.
