1273803 2012-05-06 07:54:00 Well I tried, but my digital camera is not up to it. Could get the same effect photographing the bright end of a torch. Didn't look particularly big either. dugimodo (138)
1273804 2012-05-06 08:03:00 Well I had my tripod and a fully charged battery. I couldn't really do it. 6 megapixel dSLR with a 200mm on it which is 300mm on a full frame or film camera equiv. The moon was so small. You might need a 25MP and a 400mm lens and then crop it in software  or attach a telescope (!). Maybe if I printed 6x4, I copied the image at 100% view and popped it on a blank image file. When printed the moon might be a person's face and neck perhaps. Nomad (952)
