1273435 2012-05-04 23:38:00 I don't use a TV other than for a computer screen and gaming occasionally. Other than that it wastes away in a corner.

Started watching now and then in the boarding house... it's sick! what sort of rubbish do we watch these days?

Glad I never use one.

1273436 2012-05-05 00:09:00 As a regular viewer of TVNZ7 (and formerly 6! ),
it will be with some sadness that I shall fair-well this service.
Much of what they broadcast is interesting and informative, sadly the reverse is true of most of the rest.

1273437 2012-05-05 02:40:00 The idea is great but not at the expense of the only intelligent channel.

Well, I like the idea, I use TV3+1 all the time and I can see myself using TV1+1 about as much.

1273438 2012-05-05 03:05:00 Charge Sky to show TV1, 2, (3) etc which would bring in funds to keep tv 7 going as is .

In the UK sky gets to rebroadcast all of the bbc channels for free which is a source of contension .

One survey I read when there found that 50% of tv watched on the sky platform was just rebroadcast terrestrial tv

1273439 2012-05-05 03:30:00 The reasoning if you read some of the articles is because people are busy and miss the news.

What a load of rubbish! Perhaps they have not noticed? This is the 21st century. We have the ability to record TV programmes. If you think that you may miss any TV programme you could set your recorder so that you could watch it later. It's not as if it is new technology. I have been doing that for the last thirty years.

Besides, TVNZ7 shows the news at eight o'clock. Unfortunately, not for much longer.:annoyed:
