2012-08-26 00:24:00 | Hey slankydull , i have just a while ago , the itunes program doesn't even connect to it , meaning i can't even restore . | Nhashon (16466) | |
2012-08-26 00:40:00 | sometimes the phones can get kinda stuck and you have to hold the power and home button at the same time for about 5 seconds to turn it off. are you sure the screen is totally black, you can tell if its on as the screen will be slightly grey due to the back light. | Slankydudl (16687) | |
2012-08-26 01:20:00 | Hey Slankydudl , i have tried with what you told me - holding the power and home button for a while (20 seconds) , did it a couple of times , no difference and im pretty sure the screen is totally black , can not see any grey light , have checked . | Nhashon (16466) | |
2012-08-26 01:22:00 | What version iPod is this? If it's an iPod touch the do as slanky said, hold the home/lock button for ~30 secs to reset it or put it into DFU mode (recovery mode) like so: www.pocketables.com -EDIT, ok, so screen might be broken. What happend if you plug it into a computer? Does it get recognized? What if you plug it in after getting it into DFU mode?

2012-08-26 02:07:00 | You have to be correct with the timing on DFU. You can't really tell whether it's in DFU because nothing appears on the screen. Try another computer. | sahilcc7 (15483) | |
