A first step could be to have it tested for correct output voltages etc. or substitute a different supply of the same specs and see if that cures the problem. Start with your computer age, details like operating system and any other useful information then tell us how long this has been going on and what you have to do to get it going again each time. Could just be that power saving is shutting down your monitor or something silly like that. If you go to a repair shop and tell them it is intermittently dead you may end up with a new power supply that you didn't need. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
