| 45815 | 2002-04-26 12:14:00 | As of late my VoiceCard 56 Pro V1456VQH-R modem hangs after half an hour or so of surfing. I'm unable to disconnect from my ISP without shutting the whole system down. Having shutted down, I then have to wait some time before restarting my OS for my modem to be detected again. Haven't installed any new software that i know of. Any help would be appreciated. OS: Win95b, PII, 288Mb Ram |

It still happens sometimes, although not quite as much since I changed to another phone number recommended by my ISP. Updating the modem drivers didn't seem to make a difference but it wouldn't hurt to do it. |

I had an intermittant problem with my Dynalink last year where Windows would suddenly refuse to recognise it for a while. Dynalink support gave me an accessory command to enter in modem setup and the problem disappeared. | Guest (0) | ||
