| 46079 | 2002-04-28 07:19:00 | This afternoon, I sent emails to 4 @clear.net.nz recipents, all of which have been bounced back - ' Your message has been enqueued and undeliverable for 4 hours to the following recipients:' Whats going on, none have altered their address that i know of. Thanks....John |

| 46080 | 2002-04-28 08:47:00 | John, I'm with Clear - they have had MAJOR email server problems the last 3 or 4 days it seems. According to a message I read in a newsgroup, Clear somehow lost EVERYBODIES email mailboxes (suggested due to major hardware failure). On Friday morning when I kept getting errors when trying to check my email through Outlook I went to their Webmail page, saw I had two emails in them, but when I clicked on the email to read it I got an error message that read 'So such user mailbox'. Of course there should have been, cause its MY user mailbox! As yet Clear hasn't notified me of any problems (as I'd expect a decent ISP to do after losing all my emails, and it seems everybody elses), but perhaps that's because nobody seems to be able to get emails at the moment. I guess its a good thing that the messages have bounced back - otherwise you'd be sitting wondering why you've had no replies from any of those people. No so happy Clear customer (at the moment) Mike. |
