| 46305 | 2002-04-29 08:23:00 | Just wondering if there have been articles published comparing projectors for Powerpoint presentations. Our school is looking at buying one but would like to do a bit of research first as they don't seem to be a cheap piece of harware! Thanks |

Light bulbs are expensive ($1000), so look for one with low cost replacements and long life. I think they are a good way of letting lots of kids see the same thing at the same time. robo. |

They will know which ones are reliable and rugged (both important attributes for school use -- they have to be teacher-proof). The bulbs can be expensive, but you have to work out the price per hour: the expected lifetimes vary a lot. |
