My computor stop at the 95 windows page when I turn it on. I have to use a start up disk to continue. This has occured since I deleted some old files last week. Appreciate any help. |

Sounds to me like u deleted something important! Do you remember the names of the deleted files? are they still in the recycle bin able to be restored? if all else fails I'd suggest reloading windows on top of what u have, or even better, a good reformatting to blow out the cobwebs. |

Will it start up OK in safe mode? You can get to this by hitting the F5 key just before the windows startup screen appears. If it does, then it may be salvageable. Also, if you hit escape when you see the windows screen, does it do anything and if so what do you see? |
