| 46395 | 2002-04-29 13:21:00 | I got WinXPro with multiuser. The prob is normal user (i.e. not admin/poweruser) can't run ICQ at all. Thx. |

I only use Admin account and I know this is unprofessional but I am the only user on my computer. I would have a separate admin account and a normal user account but I notice I have to keep switching if I want to change settings, installing is fine because it asks if you want to install it under an admin account. I think this is where Linux has the advantage over MS. |

I have a few ppl in my house with different accounts, of course my ICQ is working because I use the admin account but not other users. I don't want to change the users status to Admin/Poweruser. I've tried to change the permission setting for ICQ folder (under Program Files folder) so that anyone would have access to read/write/delete/etc to that particular folder so basically everything without full control. The program still wouldn't work. Any ideas? Thx... |
