| 46487 | 2002-04-30 06:28:00 | How do I enable Save Password in Internet Express 6, under windows XP? My dial-up saves the password but all my attempts to get my mail client to do the same fail. The save password box is greyed out. When I set up my account I saved the password but everytime I go back into the mail client it has disappeared. I tried setting up Microsoft client for windows but that didn't do it either. | Guest (0) | ||

Are you going to Tools/Accounts Click on the Mail Tab Click on Properties Click on Servers Type your password and select remember password if you can Click apply and OK If this does not work try removing the mail account and adding a new one, note all server settings before you remove it. You could also try setting up a new Identity. Go to File/Identities and set up a new account in the new Outlook Express identity. |
