| 46678 | 2002-05-01 11:34:00 | I do a 'search for a folder' on a PCWorld cdrom (the folder is 'copernic', in 'D:\March\MustHaveWeb\') ...I select to 'look-in' my D: drive only ...the search refuses to find the correct path ....instead, the search result is: C:\DocumentsAndSettings\Owner\LocalSettings\Applic ationData\Microsoft\CDBurning\March\MustHaveWeb\ !!! This path is not 'real' in that the CDBurning folder is empty when looked at from windows explorer...It wouldn't be so bad if the search results also included the real path as well...I don't understand... Even if I 'browse' the 'look-in' path to the ..\musthaveweb\ folder on the cdrom, it doesn't see the 'copernic' folder there! and still results in the C:\..etc. etc path. I've searched the MS knowledgebase in vain... After a suggestion, I turned off indexing for the CDBurning folder and even for all the folders on the C:\drive..it didn't help. Can anyone shed some light?... |
