46833	2002-05-02 11:11:00	hi i have just installed a hp deskjet 948c on a win me machine i pluged it in with usb and booted up it told me it had found new item and asked for drivers it even recognised it as a 948c but as the drivers installed they could could no longer find the printer even when told to look for it on the usb i then plugged it in with the parallel and it could find it so why wont it find it on the usb it has usb drivers for the 948c	Guest (0)

46835	2002-05-04 20:42:00	I had exactly the opposite problem. Installed an HP948c on windows 2k, with parallel cable. Worked for months. Then suddenly stopped printing. Drivers still installed, but windows didn't recognise the printer even being there. Tried reinstalling everything with no luck. Then reinstalled printer using USB, and everything works fine. Dunno why. I've just accepted it, and happy it works!	Guest (0)
