| 46701 | 2002-05-01 13:25:00 | I have just had to reinstall a Logitech joystick onto my computer following the demise of my previous hard-drive. I appear to have installed all the drivers okay and the unit seems to work properly. I am getting the following error message whenever I click on the Control Panel icon to configure the button functions:'An error occurred while Windows was working with the Control Panel file C:\windows\system\ljoycc.cpl' I have tried reinstalling the drivers and also copying over the above file direct from the driver disk without success. When I create a shortcut to the Control Panel icon on my desktop however I can access the required setup function without problem. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong with the direct use of the CP icon? |

I have a Wingman icon sitting in my Taskbar which I can access it to change settings etc without goin to the control panel. Once you have uninstalled it, restart your computer (it should pick up a new device)& insert your wingman disk when windows asks for it. Try it & good luck. |
