46728 2002-05-02 01:44:00 I have read that if you download Bigfix (www.bigfix.com) it is an effective software update resource. It apparently can fix all kinds of problems on your PC before they affect your computer. Has any one downloaded and is it worthwhile Guest (0)
46729 2002-05-02 05:25:00 I have not tried it before.

I prefer not to have programmes that automatically up date stuff on me.

46731 2002-05-02 09:01:00 I`ve been using Big Fix for sometime, no problems. Doesn`t update automatically, flashes up and tells you what`s available and you have the choice, yes or no. It`s up to you.

46732 2002-05-02 12:23:00 Hi Smithie,

I too have been using Bigfix for a while now. Good program!!

I don't let it run automatically though. I manually do an update about once a week when I do my cleaning, synchronizing the clock etc.

I find that Bigfix comes in handy for finding fixes a long time before I do. You can set it to check different areas of interest ie. games, OS's etc.

I recommend you add it to your ever increasing arsenal.

Cheers.
