| 46943 | 2002-05-03 08:54:00 | My kids have an old Compaq desktop with an Intel 133(non mmx)Socket 7 CPU. I would like to speed it up a bit and put a 200mhz in it. The motherboard will support up to Intel 200mhz, but I can't find any info as to whether it will support MMX. I can get plenty of 200MMX CPU's but can't find any plain 200's will it still run alright with an MMX if the motherboard doesn't support MMX. Thanks |
