2002-05-02 22:43:00 On selecting live update, a message box advises that the subscription expired on 7 June 2002. The PC date is correct. Has anyone else had this occur and HOW do you contact Symantec without being told you must pay for help???

2002-05-03 00:51:00 I have had that happend too, mine expired sometime in July 2002. Will the anti virus subscription work until July or has it expired now?? Guest (0)
2002-05-03 04:07:00 About a week or so before my subscription expired during Live update I received all the info on how to update, mine was US$9.95 for a years sub, paid by credit card over the Internet. Would think the Norton site FAQ would give info on resubscription.Frank. Guest (0)
2002-05-03 05:18:00 Or you could download the updates manually off the stmantec website for free.

2002-05-04 09:50:00 heard from someone. NAV can refuse to accept updates if the product is not subscribed (ie. expired).

It is still one of the cheapest in terms of subsciption vs. other products ie. about $10 (i may be outdated) vs. $60 for Panda.
