| 46868 | 2002-05-02 23:04:00 | By default MSN messenger does not show up in the add-remove programmes listings under windows XP...... Open C:\WINDOWS\inf\sysoc.inf and change msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7 to msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,7 Then use Add/Remove Windows Components to remove messenger. if that doesn't work try this Copy and Paste the following into your run command rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection BLC.Remove 128 %SystemRoot%\INF\msmsgs.inf that will uninstall it.... |
