46962	2002-05-03 11:44:00	I have had this trouble a few times recently, I get an advert from a website that has frozen, I go to close it using the Task Manager (CTRL ALT DEL) and when I choose end task my whole windows explorer closes down (I swear I am not closing explorer.exe, I close the page which is -not responding-) Desktop, Start menu and task bar have all gone, I am left with a browser showing My Documents, and I can navigate around my system from there (not very well). All the programs I was running are left open and I can switch between them using ALT TAB. Is there anyway I can bring Windows Explorer back without reseting my computer?! thanks.	Guest (0)
46963	2002-05-03 23:02:00	try <CTRL><ALT><DEL> then end task on 'explorer'. I have feeling that it should cause everything to refresh. Don't quote me though. Also, try using something like pop-up killer or pop-up stopper or a program like that to stop your ads from coming up... prevention is better than cure!	Guest (0)
