46950 2002-05-03 10:47:00 From time to time I get the web message that my computer does not support frames and so I cannot get the information I seek.
I use a PII laptop with Internet Explorer 6.
suggestions appreciated.

The only thing I can suggest is try reinstalling Internet Explorer 6.

Cheers,

46952 2002-05-03 12:03:00 Don't think it is quite that drastic as to having to reinstall IE6?

It is my impression that you need Netscape to veiw pages with frames!

Can anyone shed any light on this matter?

46953 2002-05-03 23:27:00 At a guess, I would say the pages you are visiting have a poor frames construct. With Frames coding, you can follow with a NoFrames tag that allows you to provide content for 'very early' browsers that couldn't handle frames. If the Frames tag was not properly constructed, your browser my interpret the Noframes section. Whilst Netscape 'invented' frames, they were adopted in IE from at least IE4 if not IE3 Guest (0)
