| 46857 | 2002-05-02 20:57:00 | I have a small network running XP and Outlook 2000. I would like to be able to share the 'Contacts' and 'Calendar' so that 2 different users can use the same set of information. I followed all the instructions as best I could, and both computers can see, add to and delete information from one set of data. The problem seems to be that all the data (appointments, contact details etc) gets duplicated. Computer A creates an appointment. This appears on Computer B. It seems that this same appointment then updates on Computer A which now has the same appointment twice. This then updates computer B, which now has the same appointment twice. Then Computer A gets updated, so the appointment appears 3 times. And so on. Same thing happens with 'Contacts'. I left the 2 computers overnight and the contacts list blossomed from 475 to about 2500. Anybody got any ideas? (Outlook 2000, v9.0.0.2711) |
