| 47140 | 2002-05-04 10:04:00 | I have just upgraded my PC from a Duron 700Mhz to an Athalon 1800 Mhz and in the process upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP Home Edition. MSN Messenger is bundled / integrated with Windows XP, so I signed up. I was sent an email to which I was supposed to respond to to verify my MSN Messenger email address. Unfortunately, for reasons ouside of my control, the email was deleted. Now, every time I start up Windows XP I get this annoying message about veryifying my email address. Unfortunately I deleted the email and cannot get MSN to re-send it. I have spent a number of hours trying to sort this out. I have checked out MSN and MSN and Microsoft Help, FAQ's, Knowledge Base and other resources, and have had no joy. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution? |
