47140 2002-05-04 10:04:00 I have just upgraded my PC from a Duron 700Mhz to an Athalon 1800 Mhz and in the process upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP Home Edition.
MSN Messenger is bundled / integrated with Windows XP, so I signed up.
I was sent an email to which I was supposed to respond to to verify my MSN Messenger email address.
Unfortunately, for reasons ouside of my control, the email was deleted.
Now, every time I start up Windows XP I get this annoying message about veryifying my email address.
Unfortunately I deleted the email and cannot get MSN to re-send it.
I have spent a number of hours trying to sort this out. I have checked out MSN and MSN and Microsoft Help, FAQ's, Knowledge Base and other resources, and have had no joy.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

47141 2002-05-04 22:14:00 Hello Paul, well I've never struck your problem, but I'm wondering wether another install might be worth a try, usually it will ask for your password etc, as you follow the wizard, and with abit of luck might rectify it.

cheers,
Bob

Many thanks for your suggestion. Actually, I looked to uninstall and reinstall MSN Messenger, but it does not appear as an uninstallable application in Control Panel|Add Remove Programs, and it just seemed to hard to follow that path. Any other ideas?
