| 47158 | 2002-05-04 23:01:00 | I installed win2k and all was fine till I started to install the security patches and service pack 2 it, next thing happened aws the boot.ini file vanished, I have it setup to show all system files, each time I boot up it tells me there is no file, where did it go? should I create a new one or just cut and paste off the network? |

Sometimes Ive come across the boot.ini as a hidden file or even not so.!! In the end, I don't see any harm in cut and paste the one off the network! Just make sure that it meets to your own PC specs. |
