If you get a blank post again, go to posts by date and open it there then cut & paste into a fresh post. Cheers Billy 8-{) I have just purchased a new computer, and i went to hook up my HP Pavillion M40 display and it can only display in 16 colours (unlike 256 & 32 true bit on the old computer). I removed the drivers to see if windows would pick it up, but it just installed a stadard driver. is there anywhere i can d/l just the driver? im running windows 98, the display is a HP D5269A Pavillion M40. any thoughts would be appreciated. cheers galnz |

Sounds like you know how to change the driver a little already, so I won't go into that here. Getting to know the model of the video card is the hardest bit. You should have drivers supplied on CD already that do the trick. Talk to HP (I think it is HP you said) if you can't figure it out. robo. |
