| 47010 | 2002-05-04 01:02:00 | Hi There It was just recently that I got a new assembled PC with Duron 950 CPU & WinXP HEd OS. 1 When I try to go to internet, the screen sticks with the horu glass for around 2 minutes & then only the WIndow comes up to allow me to put the passworld etc. 2 I have a parallel port CanoScan N640P which was working very well with my old 'slow' PC. When I installed it in the new PC, the system comes up with an Error Code- OX10ff0800. I then went to the Canon site & downloaded the softare, something called TAIWAN under the given model no. That also doesn't work. Could anyone please tell me what the problem is? Regards Mukesh |

You change this in your BIOS under integrated peripherals if that isn't there you'll probably need to dig deeper and find it yourself. Usually the settings could be ECP, EPP, SPP, bi-directional, ECP/EPP. You can try ECP/EPP to see if that will work for you otherwise you'll have to choose EPP. |
