47237 2002-05-06 12:39:00 I agree that buying the best laptop for $3000 depends greatly on how you gonna use. I have been using an $2800 ACER laptop for almost 4 years now and its still running OK espcecially with emailing and word procesing although its quite too slow if compared to what is available in the market today. i have had it fell down twice while running and its still working well. I have had good responces when communicating with ACER support service either. I have heard good stories about other brands as well but this one might worth a try.
