| 47271 | 2002-05-05 10:20:00 | bios flashing... DIY or not. i want my mobo (soltek SL75KAV) to support AthlonXP . had a look at their site and there is a new bios update avaliable but should i do it my self or not?? |

| 47273 | 2002-05-05 13:22:00 | It's not hard at all but yes you should worry if the power goes down during a flash. Check your weather news to make sure no storms are heading your way. The flash process is simple and reasonably quick. Make sure you follow the instructons on flashing and always make a backup of your old bios in case the new update has problems. |

| 47274 | 2002-05-05 20:38:00 | I've done it 3 times now on different boards & as Meat Loaf reckons '2 out of 3 'aint bad' Why did the '1' have to be the most expensive one. My advice: Only if you can afford the loss of the board, definitely not for the fainthearted. |
