| 47249 | 2002-05-05 09:24:00 | I am having trouble re-installing Norton systemworks. I uninstalled because I was having trouble with the program which I have since fixed but now it wont let me reinstall. It keeps saying that I have an uninstall shield or something like that. I thought I had uninstalled the program but there must be something left somewhere. Can antone help? |

From my experience, Norton Systems works pretty much bogs down your operating system, and often makes it unstable (when its job is to make it more stable). Then when you try to remove it it often makes things difficult. So it's not surprising that you are having trouble getting it back on. Believe me, you are far better off without it. If you need a stable operating system, save up your pennys and buy a copy of Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP. |
