47207 2002-05-05 06:33:00 I have reinstalled my computer and put on IE 6. I try it for the first time and I can not view anyflash. So I go to the macromedia webpage to download, but I think it still needs flash. I can not get some webpages going cos of this.

What whould I Do?
I have a copy of Flash4(not the player)

Is it something to do with flash or do I not have a plugin or somethink(theres no files in the IE plugins folder

47208 2002-05-05 08:33:00 I've got a couple of flash objects in my object folder so if you haven't then you probably need to download it.

I'm surprised that you don't get a request to download the plug-in whenever you view a flash page.

47209 2002-05-05 11:00:00 For purposes of research into dynamic menus I was studying the Bank Direct web page code earlier. They use Flash and it appears to redirect you off to a player if you don't have it. (Not certain on this as I have Flash installed but it's worth a try).

Go to www.bankdirect.co.nz The flash object is above the horizontal line near the top on the right hand side.
