Could someone please tell me how to move the C:\Documents folder to the new partition and make it the default location? | 47440 | 2002-05-06 12:05:00 | Hi Des, To change the default location for My Documents simply right mouse click on the desktop shortcut to My Documents and change the target pathname to your desired folder on the new partition. Note: It must be the desktop shortcut you click on. It doesn't work from inside Windows Explorer. I did this some time ago after partitioning my drive with PM7 and I'd completely forgot how I did it. Took me a while to pin down how to do it again :-) Cheers, Rod. |
