| 47423 | 2002-05-06 10:16:00 | When I put page numbers inserted in a Word document, my printer (Epson 670) can't print the whole of the number. How do I insert numbers so that they print - automatically, by adjusting the way that Word puts in these numbers? | Guest (0) | ||

Is this right? If so, go to File, Page Setup and increase the number for the bottom margin setting. If you have a look in your printer manual it will tell you somewhere how much of a margin it needs. Mine is around 1.8cm for an HP printer but printers vary. Don't forget to allow a sufficient margin for the footer as well. That is the distance from the bottom margin (where your page number is) to the bottom of the main text. If the rest of the page setup settings are what you usually have click on the Default icon to set it as the default. |
