| 47416 | 2002-05-06 08:52:00 | Well I finally got Linux working. I want to be able to connect to the internet from Linux (Mandrake 8.1), but of course I've got a winmodem... I went along to the Conexant site to see if they had a driver, but they've only got a driver for the HSF, and I've got a HCF modem. Has anybody managed to get an HCF modem going, and can you tell me how to do it? Its a bit hard to restart and boot into Windows everytime I want to look something up on the net about how to run something in Linux! Makes the learning process a bit more drawn out. Mike. |

This was how I found my HSF drivers for Linux before Conexant released their drivers. |
